1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google and use TourneyBoss, we collect:

Account & Profile: your name and photo (from Google Sign-In), phone number, WhatsApp number, and a unique username.
Game Identifiers: your in-game UID for your favorite games — Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (UID + Server ID), Free Fire (UID), PUBG Mobile (UID) — so organizers/referees can verify your identity in matches.
Tournament & Team Data: team registrations, rosters, match results, scores, and any staff role you hold (e.g. team leader, referee, moderator) within tournaments you join or host.
Sponsor Profile (optional): if you apply to become a sponsor, your organization name, logo, and contact details.

We do not knowingly collect precise location data.

2. Why We Collect This Information

To create and maintain your player/organizer profile.
To operate tournament registration, bracket generation, and match scheduling.
To let organizers, referees, and moderators verify identities and report match results.
To send you tournament-related notifications (match reminders, results, status changes) if enabled.
To maintain the security and integrity of the platform (e.g. preventing duplicate or fraudulent registrations).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3. Payments & Sponsors

TourneyBoss does not process payments. Tournament entry fees, where applicable, are settled directly between organizer and player through external services (e.g. bKash, Nagad, SSLCommerz) outside the app. TourneyBoss never collects or stores payment card, mobile-banking, or bank-account credentials.

An earlier version of this page referenced collecting a Transaction ID, payment screenshot, or payment amount. This model was retired — TourneyBoss moved to a fully external payment flow to reduce risk under Google Play's Real-Money Gambling policy and to better support users without credit cards. This page reflects the current, external-only payment model.

4. Chat & Community Content

Team chat messages you send within a team are stored so team members can coordinate. These are visible only to members of that team and relevant tournament staff (organizer/referee/moderator) where needed to resolve disputes.

5. Storage & Security

TourneyBoss stores data using Google Firebase (Firestore database and Firebase Authentication), operated by Google LLC, under Google's own security and privacy practices. By using the app you also agree to Google's Privacy Policy for the Firebase/Google Sign-In services used to power TourneyBoss.

6. Data Sharing

Certain profile information (your display name, username, and team affiliation) is visible to other users within tournaments you participate in, since this is core to how tournament brackets, rosters, and match results are displayed. Your contact number is only shared with tournament organizers/referees you're registered under, for coordination purposes.

7. Retention & Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time:

Deleting your account removes your profile, contact number, and game IDs from our systems. Historical tournament records that are shared/public in nature (such as final match scores and bracket results already published during a tournament) may be retained in anonymized or aggregate form as part of the tournament's historical record, consistent with standard esports record-keeping — these do not include your personal contact information once your account is deleted.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Some information may be retained for a limited period where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

8. Children's Privacy

TourneyBoss is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of TourneyBoss after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
